Making Strides 2013

Making Strides 2013 was a huge success! I'm so thankful to all of my family and friends who supported The Tough Cookies.  I've posted some pictures below - enjoy and please know how much I appreciate all of you!

Before-the-walk picture - I woke up to a huge thunderstorm and feared that this year would be a repeat of last year's rainy morning.  Fortunately, the skies cleared in time for the walk!

I was the survivor speaker again this year.  Although no one videoed the speech, I can assure you that it went much better than last year, particularly since it wasn't raining and I had a microphone!

My Tough Cookies - so happy that so many of my friends were able to participate again this year!

We brought the boys to the walk this year - I thought they should understand what I've been working on.  There was a bit of whining, but overall they did well and even managed to walk the full 3 miles!
